Fractal snowflake pattern used to enhance graphene photodetector quality

Researchers have used fractal patterns to enhance the quality of graphene photodetector by one magnitude.

Photodetectors are used to detect light by converting photons into an electric current. They can be found in remote controls, wireless mice, video cameras and X-ray telescopes.
